People development is about recruiting, supporting and investing in people using a variety of means including education, training, coaching, mentoring, internship, organizational and human resource management to equip them with knowledge, skills and abilities that make it possible for each to do their job well.
Strengthening the human capital of Cardigan Guards and the larger community development field is crucial for our success. We practice competency-based approach to people development.
Competency-Based Approach
This means we enforce strict recruitment process and implement competency-based training and skill enhancement to meet and exceed the requirements of the Home Affairs Ministry (KDN/PPKM).
All basic security guard training syllabuses are based on KDN/PPKM benchmark. In addition, we have also developed advanced training programmes to enhance knowledge, skills and attitudes. Certain programmes are tailored to the specific requirements of our clients.
Our performance assessment s also competency-based. All guards and middle-management teams are exposed to 'standard security measures and duties. To ensure that the quality of our protection services is consistent, quality control is monitored daily by supervisors and monthly by the management.
